Warrior QRE10 Glove Review
Hi all, Steven from Cold Blooded Sports here, with a nice little starter review on Warriors QRE10 Gloves.
First impressions of these gloves they look a bit different from previous models of Warrior gloves I have used in the past. They have a nice modern style to them, with a buttery soft feel on the hand straight out the box.
Colour wise, I went with the black gloves, with white Warrior logo, with the WarTech FNC Liner
Powered by Polygiene so you are always cool, dry and odour free – the very best gloves stay fresh and clean.
I’ve had these gloves from before the lock down and predominantly I’ve been using these gloves outside while shooting pucks in the garden. Over the few months of shooting around 100-200 pucks a day, there was little or no wear points on the palm of the glove. Warriors SmartPalm+ With Clarino Har Integrates with entire glove providing maximum feel and durability only in the key areas of the palm. Clarino Har is an abrasion reinforcement that slows wear and tear without sacrificing a soft touch feel.
The palms feel good, all be it a little thicker than the current model of glove I use, but once you get used to them they feel awesome.
I finally got a chance to use them on ice and they did not disappoint. The gloves are nice and light weight and stayed relatively dry throughout the session. The more the session went on the better they felt feeling softer with a old glove feel. When I say old glove feel, I mean for a new glove they felt like I had been using them for years, due to how soft and comfortable they are.
Now into some more of the features in these gloves that in my opinion make them a great product.
Warriors Covert Taper Fit means the glove contours to the natural shape of your wrist and hand to maximize mobility and protection. Combined with the AxyFlex V2 Cuff giving great wrist mobility and giving freedom when stick handling and shoot all the while offering full slash protection.
The AxyFlex Thumb with added Mobility and dexterity, in my opinion makes gripping the stick easy, along with the Buttersoft Feel added with the anatomical stretch backhand give Covert gloves a noticeable snappy, game-ready feel right off the shelf.
Exo+ Foam an advanced foam which is extremely lightweight combined with shield inserts that absorb big slashes and whacks make sure the protection is on point.
Overall, if you are looking for a new pair of gloves, the Warrior QRE10 in my opinion should be on your list to try.
